Our Story
When Brisbane’s business district started growing out of the CBD in the 1990s, we began working with communities, especially those on Brisbane’s South side, to design and develop dedicated business hubs. In 1998 Managing Director, Bill Henderson, introduced the innovative concept of ‘office parks’ to South East Queensland. Since then, we have developed nine state-of-the-art office parks and over 100,000 square metres of high quality office space and retail developments across the region.
OPD’s portfolio extends to a number of projects and ventures across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. This includes an assortment of brownfield redevelopment projects, industrial projects, a range of health-related assets, and a high-rise development in Brisbane’s inner-city fringe.

Construction delivery and long-standing trade relationships – Our team’s unique background in fast-track construction has led to all OPD staff being trained to deliver projects effectively. An essential part of this is establishing and maintaining long-standing trade relationships with key site management personnel and subcontractors. Our construction approach means we deliver buildings competitively and quickly. Our approach has also allowed us to continue developing throughout the uncertainty associated with this inflationary period.
On-going presence in our projects post-completion – we maintain involvement in the vast majority of our developments. Our head office is located in one of the original office parks, Garden City Office Park in Eight Mile Plains.
Extensive experience in delivering turn-key projects to our clients – one of the keys to our success has been thanks to delivering our clients certainty by delivering premises on a “turn-key” basis. Our construction approach outlined above allows us to deliver fitouts far more competitively than our customers.
